The Tragically Hip, Burlington, VT

The information online about this show is scarce, so I hope that by dropping this post, someone else who was at the show will help fill in the blanks. At this point, the Tragically Hip had gotten big enough in Canada that they were starting to play large impersonal venues.  I heard that they were playing in an auditorium in Burlington, which would be an experience not to be missed. If I remember correctly, I drove down with my friend Avrum and we took in what was probably the best show of theirs I ever saw.

Wow. I can’t believe I found this post tonight. I was talking to my daughter about this particular Tragically Hip show that I attended with her father in the fall of 1993, but I could find nothing online about it (as if it had never happened!)
It was an incredible show, for sure.

Yes, ditto. I was at this show as well.
I believe they opened for Eric Johnson.
    It was a great show.
A buddy from work, with his wife and I went.
They were stoked for The Hip. I was stoked for Eric Johnson. I left asking who Eric Johnson is and The Hip have been, and still are, my Numero uno fave.
