After a shaky start in the first inning, Berríos settled into a strong groove, pitching seven shutout innings of two-hit ball. He managed to get in 100 pitches and brought his ERA close to 1.00! Justin Turner remains the hottest Blue Jays hitter, going 3-4 with 3 RBIs. While Nate Pearson’s appearance in the ninth wasn’t a save situation, he still did close down the game with three straight strikeouts.
