While it is exciting to start a complete website overhaul from scratch, there is something just as pleasing about building on and iterating on a project. While celebrating the launch of a major project that has been worked on for months feels great, so does building long-term relationships and getting to invest in the ongoing improvement of a platform to ensure it continues to be fresh and new.
Recently, I got to write in detail about the topic of iterative and ongoing investment on a website for Capacity Interactive’s blog. As their long-term partner and sponsor of their event Bootcamp for the Arts, I’m proud of our association with and support of this leading digital marketing agency in the arts and culture industry.
Earlier this month, Capacity Interactive published my most recent post, which I encourage you to visit: The Benefits of an Ongoing Investment in Your Website
“Too often, after a significant investment of energy and money into a large website redesign, the site is left as-is and slowly ages. With online technology constantly evolving, a website can easily become outdated without ongoing attention. That’s why continued investment in your site matters.”
If my perspective on this topic interests you, I recommend visiting the Capacity Interactive website to read one of my other past articles. Also, dig through their archives, as there are tons of valuable and informative articles on digital marketing and other internet-related topics.

In addition to writing on websites like Capacity Interactive, I am in the midst of increasing the amount of writing I’m doing on my site, in addition to the main Plank website. If there are any topics you would like me to cover or any other websites you think would like to have me as a contributor, drop me a line or send me a DM, and I’ll be happy to discuss any of your suggestions.
