With the Plank head office in the Belgo building since the early 2000s, we have been a part of and seen the neighbourhood around us morph. The area now called the Quartier Des Spectacles was a lot of underused pace between us and Place Des Arts.
It’s a pleasure to see it in its present form as an open area that can be reconfigured for events, festivals, and concerts without much effort. Thanks to annual events like the Jazz Festival, I’ve had the opportunity to see Arcade Fire, Stevie Wonder, and James Brown play doors away from our office.
