Around 1999-2000 I / Plank was approached by infamous late-night CBC alternative radio show Brave New Waves to help them redesign their website. As a big fan of the show, I was excited to work with Patti, Gen, Yuani and the rest of the crew. At some point during the process, they asked us also to come up with some ideas for a new logo for them and I designed a few concepts. Little did I know that they would like them and use one of my ideas.
12+ years later and I stumbled on the above picture on Facebook thanks to Patti. Seems that someone connected enough with BNW to take the logo and tattoo it on themselves.
