Every summer since 2006, Plank has taken one Friday off to go and do something non-work related. The day usually includes dinner, drinks and some event that none of us would normally consider doing. I am not one to usually support “organized fun” but when Allen suggested it the first time, I figured I should be open-minded. Luckily, most Plank Appreciation Days have been a success and an enjoyable way to get to know each other better.
This year Steve took the lead in organizing the main event (going to the Planetarium & Olympic Stadium Tower) and Colin and I chose the restaurant, Beni Hana. In the past we have: played mini-golf, did a jet boat ride in the Lachine Rapids, went Bowling and spent the day at La Ronde.
