While this event was a bit smaller than the past two Galas that honoured the 1981 and 1994 Montreal Expos, some of the all-time best Expos were in attendance.Unfortunately, Rusty Staub wasn’t able to attend the Gala as a result of his deteriorating health. In addition to the people featured on the ticket above, MBP managed to also get Vladimir Guerrero to attend. I was able to meet all of them briefly and even had a brief, albeit funny exchange with Andre Dawson when I showed him a photo of us taken 35 years earlier.
