The thing about Montréal in February is that the weather sucks. It’s dark, cold and covered ice and snow. I love my hometown and enjoy playing tour guide to any and all visitors but whatever you do, don’t visit in February. You’ll never come back. Even I was happy that I got the opportunity to go south for a few days and escape the weather. My trip wasn’t long, but I was delighted to get a chance to visit Charleston, South Carolina for the first time.
While not exactly in Charleston proper, I got the opportunity to stay a the Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms to attend Owner Summit for the fourth year in a row. In addition to two days inspiration from my Bureau of Digital friends, I got a chance to explore downtown Charleston, walk along the beach, and eat tons of southern delicacies.
