Having last visited Victoria, British Columbia in 1995, I was looking forward to visiting this provincial capital. I got in on June 5th to attend All In: The 2019 Community Foundations Conference.
The direct flight from Montreal to Vancouver was routine and as expected but I was not prepared for a 20-minute flight that only reach 10,000 feet. It was quick, fascinating and beautiful. Funny enough, given how far the airport is from the downtown, I think the drive to my hotel took longer than the flight.
