Café Campus: Montréal, QC
It was a pleasure to see Sloan in such a surprisingly small venue, but it was better for the band to hedge their bets on the size of the audience. As a result, Café Campus — with a capacity of 300 people — felt bustling and full. While Sloan is over thirty years into their career, they performed with a vibrancy that most bands can’t manage in their prime. They seem to still be in love with playing live and got through 34 different songs over two sets and an outstanding encore.
