I was 10 years old as well and I never heard who they announced as the substitute. That was one charged crowd though, even in the streets after the card ppl were chanting Hogan’s name and booing Kamala.
I was there and I remember KoKo B. Ware “Birdman” was there. Maybe he was the substitute.
Checking this site, is possible you were to the match on February 6th, 1987? KoKo B. Ware wrestled on that date!
